1) Login to the school website and click the Moodle link on the top menu.
2) Click on SHCPS Staff Surveys.
3) Complete the Head of School Survey for Teachers and the New School Model Survey for Staff.

Student Directions (grades 3-8):

2) Click on Student Surveys.
3) Complete the Teacher Survey for Students (once for every teacher you have), Head of School Survey for Students, and the New School Model Survey for Students.

Parent Directions:

3) Click Login as a guest.
4) Complete the Teacher Survey for Parents(once for every teacher that your child(ren) has), Heads of School Survey for Parents, and the New School Model Survey for Parents.

Admin Directions:
1) Login to the school website and click the Moodle link on the top menu.
2) Click on SHCPS Admin Surveys.
3) Complete the Superintendent Survey for Admin.
4) Also complete the New School Model Survey which is accessible via the Staff Directions.

The Study Island May Vacation Challenge starts today (Friday, May 17)!

This is different than previous Study Island Challenges, so please read these instructions carefully:

1) Log into Study Island, click on the “MA Programs” link on the left. Then, click on your grade level, then a subject, and then a topic (or you can check off multiple topics if you would like!). For example, grade 5 students should only work on grade 5 subjects and topics. Answer as many questions as you can in as many topics as you can.

2) The top 33 students who do the most work in Study Island from Primary, Elementary, and Junior Academies will be invited to St. Peter Marian’s Field Day on June 4! Only work done from May 17-May 27 will count. Again, the work must be done in Study Island on your current grade level topics.

Instructions for Gr. 2-8 students: Make sure you login to Study Island over the April vacation. When you login you will find a special April Vacation class link for your grade level. Click that and then click to work on the April Vacation Assignment for your grade level. If you can earn 4 blue ribbons in all 4 included topics for the April Break Math Assignment, you will be eligible to attend the special hot breakfast!

Dear Families,

The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (also known as DOE or DESE) has decided to postpone the Grade 4 and 7 Long Composition MCAS until Monday, March 25.

This is, of course, due to the weather.

All other ELA MCAS testing dates will remain the same, which are the Grade 3-8 Reading Comprehension Session 1 on Tuesday, March 26, and the Grade 3-8 Reading Comprehension Session 2 on Tuesday, April 2.

Students in grades 2-8 can access the Study Island Snow Day Challenge by logging into the school website and then clicking the Study Island link on the top menu. Once inside Study Island, look for the Snow Day Challenge links. Earn all 4 blue ribbons to complete the challenge. Good luck!
