Supplemental Educational Services

Per the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Supplemental Educational Services (SES) are additional, free, academic instruction designed to increase the academic achievement of students in schools identified for improvement, corrective action or restructuring under the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB). The Department has posted data on the number of students in each district who were eligible for and participated in Title I / school choice and SES in Massachusetts public schools during the 2007-08 school year. These data are available at http://www.doe.mass.edu/ses/resources.html. Additionally, a list of SES providers approved to serve students attending Seven Hills Charter Public School is available here.
